Must-see of the day: Bronze Radio Return Unlike most of the bands on the BMI stage, Bronze Radio Return has been around the block a couple times. Releasing their third studio album, "Up, On & Over", in 2013, Bronze Radio Return has a wide collection of songs to choose from. Unfortunately, they only have a 40-minute slot to show what they got. With indie-rock jams that you can't help but dance to, like "Rather Never Know", "Down There", and "Further On", and slow, melodic songs, such as "Strawberry Hill", Bronze Radio Return will be worth seeing, even for just a 40 minute long party.
The WHY? conflict of the day: Bronze Radio Return vs. Young the Giant
12 pm - 1 pm
Who I'm seeing: KONGOS (12:15-1)
KONGOS formed in 2007 by brothers with the last name of, you guessed it, Kongos. The band's debut album, "Lunatic", features "Come With Me Now", which was very well received in the alternative world. If nothing else, go to KONGOS to see "Come With Me Now".

1 pm - 2 pm Who I'm seeing: Bleachers (1:30-2:15) Catch if you can: Gemini Club (1-1:45) Bleachers, the side project of Jack Antonoff, the lead guitarist of Fun., was kept a secret for nearly a year while the album was being made. When Jack finally let the world in on his secret with the first single off "Strange Desire", called "I Wanna Get Better", it immediately became a massive hit. Bleachers followed that with three more singles, and released the album on July 11, 2014. With Bleachers, Jack Antonoff is branding his own version of modern pop music and will put on a great show. Gemini Club, and electronic indie-rock band, are known for their unique live performances, which use a specially designed rig to enable on the fly remixing of their own songs.
2 pm - 4 pm
Who I'm seeing - Delta Rae (1:45-2:45), Trombone Shorty (2:45-3:45)
Catch if you can: RAC (3:30-4:15), White Denim (2:15-3)
Delta Rae, a six-piece rock band from North Carolina, have received much acclaim for their 2012 debut album, "Carry The Fire". They are working on a new album, and their first single, "Chasing Twisters", has been well received, and righteously so. Known for their live performances, Delta Rae have made their festival rounds, playing everywhere from Bonnaroo to Voodoo.
The best part about going to a Trombone Shorty show is that you don't need to know any of his songs to have a good time. Trombone shorty will bring the New Orleans groove and get the crowd moving.
RAC, formerly known as Remix Artist Collaborative, is best known for his remixes of famous songs from Foster the People to Lana Del Ray to The Shins. RAC's most recent album, however, featured original songs using collaborations with Matthew Koma, St. Lucia, and Tegan & Sara, among others.

4 pm - 6 pm Who I'm seeing - Cage the Elephant (4-5), Betty Who (5:40-6:20) Catch if you can: The 1975 (4:45-5:30), Cardiknox (4:30-5:10), Glen Hansard (5-6) Cage the Elephant, a rock band from Kentucky, released their third album "Melophobia" in 2013. With guitar and effect-heavy rock music, look to get moving during Cage the Elephant's set. If the video beneath doesn't convince you to see them, I don't know what will. Betty Who, a dance-pop Australian singer, is making waves with her two EPs, "Slow Dancing" and "The Movement", the latter of which was nominated for Best EP of 2013 by both Billboard Magazine and Popjustice, as well as numerous other accounts of praise. If you're wondering what to expect from this set, just listen to her artistic goal: "I'd just like to make people dance"
6 pm - 8 pm Who I'm seeing: Bronze Radio Return (6:50-7:30), Young the Giant (7:15-8:15) Catch if you can: The Avett Brothers (6-7:15), Childish Gambino (6:45-7:45) (From above) Unlike most of the bands on the BMI stage, Bronze Radio Return has been around the block a couple times. Releasing their third studio album, "Up, On & Over", in 2013, Bronze Radio Return has a wide collection of songs to choose from. Unfortunately, they only have a 40-minute slot to show what they got. Young the Giant released their sophomore album, "Mind Over Matter", in January of 2014. It has a different sound than their debut self-titled album, but in my opinion, it's even better. The alt-rock band is gaining success steadily ever since their debut album came out, and will put on a great show.
