Must-see of the day: Foster the People After their massively successful debut album "Torches", it was hard to imagine Foster the People's second album coming anywhere close to the level "Torches" hit. However, despite not being quite as popular, "Supermodel" is about a complete a record as "Torches" was. Featuring dance-oriented indie pop sounds, Foster the People will have the crowd pulsating to "Houdini", "Helena Beat", and "Best Friend", among others, but can also break it down to songs like "Nevermind". Foster the People play at the Samsung Galaxy stage from 6:15-7:15.
The WHY? conflict of the day: Grouplove vs Smallpools
12 pm - 3 pm
Who I'd see: Vance Joy (1-1:45), Desert Noises (2:10-2:50)
Catch if you can: The Districts (12-12:45), Wildcat! Wildcat! (1:30-2:15)
3 pm - 5 pm
Who I'm seeing: The Temper Trap (3:15-4:15)
Catch if you can: Fitz & the Tantrums (4:15-5:15)
Coming out of Melbourne, Australia, The Temper Trap have their huge hit "Sweet Disposition" to thank for their popularity. However, "Sweet Disposition" is far from their only note-worthy song. Releasing their sophomore album in 2013, The Temper Trap have more than enough material to make this show worth seeing. "Trembling Hands", "Rabbit Hole", "Need Your Love", and "Fader" will get the crowd moving. Fitz and The Tantrums, also releasing their sophomore album in 2013, have an infectious indie-pop sound that will bring you up off your feet. I've seen them live already, so I'm not planning on seeing them.

5 pm - 6 pm Who I'm seeing: Smallpools (5:15-6) Catch if you can: Grouplove (4:45-5:45), Joywave (5:40-6:20) Smallpools is an indie-elecro-pop band out of Los Angeles. Backed by their debut hit single "Dreaming" and following 4-song EP, Smallpools has toured with the likes of twenty one pilots, Neon Trees, Walk the Moon, Two Door Cinema Club, and none other than...Grouplove. Good idea sticking them in the same slot, huh? Smallpools also is going on a headlining tour this fall with Magic Man and Panama Wedding. This is one of those bands that you can say you saw before they were huge. Grouplove, on the other hand, is a bit more established, with two albums out. Although they hit a bit of a sophomore slump with "Spreading Rumours", they should still have a pumpin set.
6 pm - 7 pm
Who I'm seeing: Foster the People (6:15-7:15)
Catch if you can: Nas (5:45-6:45)
(From above) After their massively successful debut album "Torches", it was hard to imagine Foster the People's second album coming anywhere close to the level "Torches" hit. Foster the People play at the Samsung Galaxy stage from 6:15-7:15. Throwin it back to the 90s, Nas is one of my favorite rappers. Known for his 1994 classic "Illmatic", Nas is a great show for the rap fans out there.

7 pm - 8 pm Who I'm seeing: The Head & The Heart (7:15-8:15) Catch if you can: Spoon (6:45-8) Since their debut self-titled album in 2010, the Head & The Heart have become of the most popular names in indie-rock. Releasing their second album, "Let's Be Still", in 2013, the Head & The Heart rely on guitar, piano, violin, and wonderful, wonderful vocals to make their songs beautiful, both recorded and live. Spoon has been around a bit longer, and has released three singles from their new album.
8 pm - 10 pm
Who I'm seeing: OutKast (8:15-10)
This may be the last time that legendary rap duo OutKast goes on tour, so you don't want to miss them. I mean, who are you going to see instead of them anyways, Calvin Harris? If you want to hear him, just listen to B96 on the way to Grant Park.
Who are you seeing at Lolla Saturday? Comment below
